Kurzweil is making a bold prediction here about the capabilities of AI in just a few years’ time. Emotional intelligence is a complex trait that involves the ability to understand and express emotions, as well as to perceive and respond to others’ emotions. If computers can develop this capability, it could revolutionize the way we interact with technology and with each other. However, the question remains: what ethical considerations should we take into account when creating emotionally intelligent machines?
